Born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Philip Ojih on the 30th of June, 1966, at Orokam village, Ogbadigbo LGA of Benue State — Idoma by tribe — he grew up with a deep love for God and people.
From his early school days he demonstrated exceptional leadership in faith. At Mount St. Gabriel Secondary School, Makurdi (1978–1983), he served as Prefect in Charge of the Chapel, a role he carried out with excellence and devotion. His passion for ministry led him to pursue theological training alongside his academic studies, culminating in a Post Graduate Diploma in Theology from ECWA Theological Seminary and further study toward a Master’s in Divinity at ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos, before his untimely death.
